First lets start up RPG Maker Fes.
On the main menu, select "Create new." This is where you want to select when you want to make a new RPG!
Let's start by setting name for your RPG. So choose "Database." On the Database screen, select "Title."
Choose the option "Title name," and then put a name in for your RPG. Then you can choose the "Staff roll" section. Select the creator name section and you can put a name you want to use for the credits of your game.
If you select "preview" on either the Opening tab or the Staff roll tab, you can see what your title screen or credits look like!
Once you are finished, select "Confirm."
Go back to the Create Menu screen by pressing B or tapping the B button icon in the bottom left of the screen.
Now let's save our game. Tap "Save" and then choose one of the 16 slots available to save your game. After saving, press B to go back to the main Create Menu.
Now as you edit your game, on most menu's you'll be able to press START or SELECT to quickly have the option to save your game. You don't want to loose any of your precious work time!
Ok! Let's play our game! Select "Test Play"!
You should see your title screen, and be able to select "From Beginning."
You are now playing you're first RPG! Congratulations! You're on your way to being a game developer!
You can move around with the D-Pad or the Circle Pad. You can view the main in-game menu by pressing X, and walk faster by holding B as you walk. You can quit the game by choosing "QUIT" in the main menu or pressing START.
